Precision Farming and Remote Sensing
Shown below is an animation illustrating the use of
airborne remote sensors for measuring crop yields. As the crops begin maturing,
the infrared energy they emit allows for a simple means to measure anticipated
crop yields, often producing early yield results far superior to traditional
ground-based measurement techniques.
